Current School Operations

All EVSC schools are operating on a normal schedule.



Emergency Dismissal Information

One-Hour Delay
  • Morning Southern Indiana Career and Technical will run one hour late.
  • Extended Day Care Centers will be open at 6:30 am.
  • International Newcomer's academy at Washington Middle School cancelled.
  • Breakfast will be served.
Two-Hour Delay
  • Morning and Afternoon Southern Indiana Career will run 9:40 am-11:10 am and 12:35 pm-2:25 pm.
  • Extended Day Care Centers will be open at the usual 6:30 am.
  • Breakfast will be served to day care students only.
  • Morning classes at School of Academic and Career Development and Henry Reis cancelled.
  • International Newcomer's Academy at Washington Middle School cancelled.
  • Morning classes at EARC, REHAB, Lincoln and Culver pre-schools cancelled.
Early Dismissal
  • If dismissed on or before 12:00 noon, Extended Day Care Centers are cancelled.  Parents will be notified to pick up children.  If dismissal occurs after 12:00 noon, the Ed Centers will remain open on a regular schedule.
  • Athletic practices and games canceled.
  • Fine Arts rehersals and performances cancelled.
  • Secondary Credit Program (Central Evening) cancelled.
  • Afternoon classes at School of Academic and Career Development and Henry Reis cancelled.
  • Afternoon classes at EARC, REHAB, Lincoln and Culver pre-schools cancelled.
Cancellations
  • Extended Day Care Centers closed.  (Parents will be notified to pick up children who may already be at the center.)
  • Fine Arts Rehersal and performances cancelled.
  • Athletic games cancelled.  Practices may be held, but attendance is voluntary.
  • Secondary Credit Program closed.
  • Adult enrichment classes at the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center and West Heights Annex Portables Cancelled.
