The nurse's hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  She may be contacted at 476-3051 Ext. 74116 or email Cynthia Happe.

Students or parents who need to see the nurse before or after the nurse’s scheduled hours should report to the main office.

Please use the following guidelines to help ensure that we will be able to meet your needs.

Parents of freshman students are reminded to send in physical forms as soon as possible.

If a student has a doctor’s appointment during the school day, he/she should bring a note from their parent or guardian to the office before school. This allows us to complete the paperwork reducing the number of interruptions to the classroom. It also enables the student to leave their classes at the right time and to use their doctor slip as a hall pass.

If a parent needs to pick up their child, please allow adequate time to do this. It may take as much as fifteen minutes to send for a student out of class.

If a student needs to take medication at school, parents must bring the medication to the nurse’s office. The medication must be in the original bottle and be accompanied by a note to cover the nurse for the first day until we can send you a medication card to fill out and sign. In your note, please write the instructions for when you want the medication administered and how much you want given.

Emergency cards are very important as they give the information we need to care for your student in case of an emergency. It also gives us a signature of permission to take your child for care when they need it. This is very important, especially if we cannot reach you right away. If you have not updated your students emergency card or if there are changes, such as phone numbers, doctors, ambulance or hospital choice, please obtain one from the nurse’s office so that you give us your most recent information.
