Payment Information
Your Child's Account
Each child in the EVSC is assigned a PIN number so they may access their lunch account. Parents deposit funds of any amount, using cash or check, into their child's account. When students enter their PIN number at checkout, their account is automatically debited. If your child has run out of money, a notice regarding the amount owed to obtain a zero balance in your child's account will be sent home. Please pay the amount on the notice promptly. Thank you.
FAR System to Help EVSC Recover Funds More Efficiently
The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation has elected to use an outside company to recover returned checks that have been used to pay for school lunches. No longer will the district or school staff arrange for the repayment of checks returned for non-sufficient funds. The Federal Automated Recovery Systems (FARS) will now be responsible for the electronic collection of non-sufficient funds checks turned in to any school or district account.
The EVSC will gladly accept your checks. When you provide a check as payment, you authorize the EVSC to either use information from the check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction. You also are authorizing FARS to collect a $20 fee through an electronic fund transfer from your account if your payment is returned unpaid.
