Welcome to our fantastic, fun-filled Stockwell Day Care. We are very excited to have you and your child exploring our program. Our goal in the EVSC Day Care Centers is to provide safe, affordable care for your school-age child. We want the children to have memorable and enjoyable times. Although Day Care is very different from school, the same general rules do apply.

Our Day Care has its own private line for use before and after school hours. The phone number is 474-6924. Always notify us if your child is not going to attend Day Care.Our answering machine will pick up if no one is available to receive your call.Notes concerning Day Care are not forwarded to us by the teachers.Remember,for your child's safety ; please do not hesitate to call.



Daycare Hours

The Stockwell Elementary School Day Care  is open from 6:30 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. and from 2:16 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Parents who wish to enroll their children in afterschool daycare should complete an enrollment form before the child begins attending.This form can be picked up in the front office or at the daycare desk located in the cafeteria. Arrangements must be made to have your child/children picked up by 6:00 p.m. A late fee will be charged if the child remains past 6:00 p.m.


If there is a delayed opening or early dismissal of school,the procedures listed below will be followed :


--The daycare will open at 6:30 am even if a delayed opening of school is announced.


-- If school is cancelled after a delayed opening,parents should pick up their children as soon as possible. 


--If an early dismissal occurs before 12 noon, the daycare afternoon session will be cancelled.


--If an early dismissal occurs after 12 noon,the daycare will be opened until 6 pm.There will be extra charges for extra hours of daycare. In case of a weather emergency,parents are encouraged to pick up their children as soon as possible.



The Fees for Daycare:

Day Care Fees


A fee schedule is established for the school year and is available in the front office or at the daycare desk located in the cafeteria.Fees must be paid on the first day of each week of attendance.If parents fall two weeks behind in fee payments,the child may be dismissed from daycare.Unpaid fees will be turned over to the EVSC Central Office for collection.Parents on the voucher program need to swipe cards for payment verification.Parents who are applying voucher assistance are responsible for all fees until the daycare coordinator has received official notification of this assistance from the voucher office.


A.M.= $13.00 weekly
P.M.= $30.00 weekly
Both= $43.00 weekly


Late charges:


If a parent arrives 6:01 p.m. and 6:19 p.m.


$10.00 late fee will be assessed per child


If a parent arrives 6:20 p.m. or later:


$20.00 late fee will be assessed per child

Snacks are provided each day for the children in daycare. There is no additional charge for these snacks.If the child has allergiesto certain foods or requires a special diet , a doctor's statement must be on file with the daycare. If special foods are required for the child, parents will be asked to provide these items.
