Responsible Usage Policies
Access to the Internet is available to students and teachers in the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation. The goal in providing this vast, diverse, and unique resource to both students and teachers is to promote educational excellence by facilitating resource sharing, innovation and communication. Moreover, electronic information research skills are now fundamental to the preparation of informed citizens and future employees.
The Responsible Use Policy attempts to strike a balance among the educational resources of the Internet, the potentially illegal and offensive elements of the Internet, and the First and Fourth Amendment rights of students using the Internet.
Note:
The Technology Usage Agreement and Consent form must be signed by all Students, Teachers, and Administrators to use the EVSC Internet. Parent and student consent is done at the start of each school year on the Parent Sign Off form distributed with the Parent Guide & Calendar
