Cedar Hall Celebrates ISTEP Gains
Cedar Hall Principal Jackie Kuhn was greeted with roaring approval from her student body when she praised their double digit gains last spring on the ISTEP scores. Cedar Hall hosted an assembly for all students to show them what hard work, perserverence, and good school attendance can do for their test scores.
And... school leaders also spoke about the future successes they are expecting for this school year. "We are gonna raise the roof," shouted Counselor Bruceanne King to the crowd - amidst cheering and clapping.
Suddently, music started playing and two teachers on the floor started dancing in unison, soon others on the floor joined in... and teachers poured out of the stands to fill the floor for Cedar Hall's first Flash Mob!
Kuhn said she wanted to let the students know how proud the school was of them and to excite them about continuing those successes.
