Public Invited to Recognize Good Work in EVSC
Families, students, and the general public are invited to call out Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation’s employees who are going above and beyond through a new “Cause for Applause” Employee Recognition program.
The purpose of Cause for Applause is to acknowledge individuals or groups of individuals in the corporation who are going above and beyond the call of duty. Individuals can be nominated by fellow staff members, by students, by parents, or by anyone in the community. 
Each month, a Cause for Applause winner will be announced the first week of the month and a special visit by the superintendent and others will take place at that person's school or office. The winner(s) will also be noted at the first School Board meeting of the month. As a winner, the employee will receive a special window cling decal for their vehicle, designating him/her as the employee of the month; a certificate for his/her office; a special parking space with its own Cause for Applause parking sign and the opportunity to pick an item from a specialized list from ShopEVSC.com.
Nomination forms are due to the EVSC Office of Human Resources by the third Friday of each month. October’s deadline will be Oct. 19. An online nomination form can be found under "Community" on this website or by clicking here. Or, paper forms can be obtained at any school or at the EVSC Administration Building, 951 Walnut Street, Evansville IN 47713, and mailed to the same address.
