High Schools
High school is a time for preparation - preparation for post-secondary education or careers. The EVSC knows what it takes to prepare each high school student for that next step, and it challenges students with many opportunities from which to choose to ignite their passion for learning.
There should be no cookie-cutter approach to education, which is why the EVSC created multiple schools and programs to cater to the needs of students. Not only are there the designated high school district schools, but also high schools and innovative programming that help advance each student in a career path such as:
- New Tech Institute: Academies of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Leadership
- Early College High School
- Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center
- Randall Shepard Academy for Law and Social Justice
- Medical Professions Academy
- Center for Family and Community Outreach
- International Baccalaureate Programme
The EVSC also has the EVSC Virtual Academy where students are able to take classes online in order to recover credits, replace a grade orfor credit advancement. It also has Advanced Placement courses available.
The EVSC offers 19 different varsity sports within the high school system and other sporting opportunities at the junior varsity and freshman levels.
