Middle Schools
Middle school-aged students often enter middle school with high expectations. To help each student perform to their fullest potential, the EVSC provides a netbook computer for each student in grades 6 - 12.
With its one-to-one initiative, the EVSC provides all middle school students with a netbook computer. Netbooks are a vital part of classroom learning, allowing students to engage with their coursework the way they do much of everything else - with technology.
Middle school students have many options when it comes to curriculum areas within EVSC schools. Schools offer the possibility of high school credit in certain subject areas, and extra and co-curricular subjects such as speech teams, world languages, connection with students from overseas, fine arts and more. The EVSC also includes Helfrich Park Middle School and Perry Heights Middle School that have a STEM focus (science, technology, enginnering and math), and Plaza Park International Prep Academy, that is engaging students through world cultures, preparing them to be a part of the 21st century global community.
