This platform promotes transparency and keeps our community informed about decisions and discussions that impact our schools. Whether you are a parent, staff member, or community stakeholder, you can use Board Docs to view upcoming and past meeting agendas, access supporting documents, and read official minutes and policies.

Want to speak with a board member in person?

Before each regularly scheduled Board meeting, Board members and district administrators host a Town Hall beginning at 5:00 PM. This is an opportunity for Vanderburgh County residents to speak directly and in person with Board members in attendance about matters related to EVSC schools.

If you would like to participate in a Town Hall, please register in advance by completing the form below. The form is open from 12:00 PM the Friday preceding a Board meeting through 12:00 PM the day of a Board meeting.

Public Hearing & Meeting Notices

The Board of School Trustees of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation will meet for regular Board meetings as shown on the schedule above. Meetings will be held in the Board Room of the EVSC Administration Building located at 951 Walnut Street, Evansville, IN. Board meetings can also be observed by tuning to EVSC’s radio station, 90.7 WPSR, live streamed online at https://www.wpsrhd.com/, or our YouTube page at https://youtube.com/evsc1. Individuals who plan to attend the meeting and desire to address the Board during the Public Comment portion of the meeting must complete and submit a Registration to Address the EVSC Board of School Trustees form by 12:00 PM the day of the meeting.

Prior to the regularly scheduled Board meeting, three members of the Board, along with district administrators, will hold a Town Hall beginning at 5:00 PM. This Town Hall is for Vanderburgh County residents to speak with Board members in attendance about issues involving EVSC schools. The Town Hall will be held in the Technology and Innovation Center located at 951 Walnut Street, Evansville IN. Members of the public who would like to attend the Town Hall should register by completing the Town Hall Registration Form.

Have a specific agenda item on which you wish to address the Board?

Meetings of the EVSC Board of School Trustees are open to the public and focused on conducting the business of the school corporation. While these meetings are not designed as general community forums, the Board does provide an opportunity for public comment on agenda items in alignment with Indiana law and Board Policy 1305.

If you would like to share comments with the Board, please complete the Registration to Address the Board of School Trustees by 12:00 PM on the day of the meeting. Public comments are limited to two minutes.

EVSC Bylaws & Policies

The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation regularly reviews and updates its policies. Each policy must be approved by the Board of School Trustees, before being enacted. The Board of School Trustees also approves School Rules each school year. School Rules and the Dress for Success Uniform Policy are posted here as well.
