Family & Community Engagement (FACE)
EVSC defines Family and Community Engagement (F.A.C.E.) as an equitable and meaningful partnership among families, stakeholders, educators, students, and community members that promotes academic and social development from cradle to career.
Our goal is to foster asset-based, multidimensional, two-way communication, build trusting relationships, and position families as co-authors and co-producers in the educational journey. We believe that when families, schools, and communities work together, we create the conditions for all students to thrive.
EVSC is committed to equity-focused family engagement, ensuring access and opportunity for all students in our schools and communities. We embrace and uplift the languages, cultures, and experiences of every family we serve.
As our mission, vision, and core values affirm, we are truly “Better Together.”

Community Schools Framework (4 Pillars)
The EVSC believes that a robust community school strategy transforms a school into a place where educators, community partners, families and students work together in the creation of an environment where students thrive.
As partners we will work together to create a culture which promotes student learning and healthy development, organize in and out of school resources, supports and opportunities to ensure that students thrive.
