Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! Below are some resources to help you and your student get ready for school.
New Student Enrollment
It's very important to make sure your student is enrolled prior to the first day of school. If you are new to the EVSC, returning or just changing schools, please make sure to enroll before August 10 to ensure a smooth start to the school year for you and your student.
What School District Do I Live In?
The school your child will attend depends on your home address. To find out what school your student should attend, click on the link below. Once you identify your student's school, make sure to enroll as soon as possible.
School Start Dates
To ensure a smooth start to the year, EVSC staggers first days based on student last names. Find your start date below:
- August 10 & 11: Students with last names beginning with K-Z will attend school
- August 12 & 13: Students with last names begining with A-J will attend school
- August 14: ALL students will attend school
Parent Portal
If you haven't already done so, make sure you can access the PowerSchool Parent Portal. On the Parent Portal, you will be able to see grades, attendance, schedules and more. You also will be able to complete required back to school paperwork. Click below for more information.
Annual Registration
All families will be asked to complete annual registration via the Parent Portal this year beginning in late July. Annual registration includes all of the EVSC's back to school paperwork we need families to complete. Check out the link below for full details.

Have everything you need at your fingertips with the EVSC mobile app. Download it today by searching "EVSC" in your app store.
Volunteer Application
All EVSC volunteers must submit a Volunteer Application prior to volunteering at an EVSC school. Click on the link below to learn more and submit an application.
Bus Application
Families who need bus transportation need to fill out a bus application first. Click on the link below for complete information and to complete an application.
Extended Day Centers
The EVSC offers before and after school care for students in grades K-6. Click below for additional information and to register.
School Meals
The EVSC offers both breakfast and lunch for students. Click below to see prices, menus and more.
Free/Reduced Meal Application
The EVSC's free/reduced application will be available on LINQ Connect prior to the start of school. Additional communication will be shared with families once the application is available.
Immunizations
Certain immunizations are required for school. Click below to see the immunizations required by the state of Indiana.
School Supply Lists
Each school and sometimes each classroom develop their own school supply lists. Check your school's website or Facebook page for specific lists.
