Bus Application

To help streamline our processes and help our Bus Transportation department create routes, we ask all families that need bus transportation to complete the EVSC bus application via the Parent Portal. Families will need to complete the bus application if you:

-Are a new EVSC student.
-A current student who has moved to a new address.
-A current student whose situation has changed and you now need bus service.

Complete the EVSC Bus Application via the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

2026-2027 Bus Application Now Available!

Will your student need bus transportation of NEXT school year? If so, you will need to apply. Please complete the 2026-2027 bus application via the Parent Portal as soon as possible. 

Note: if you are a new family to the EVSC for this school year, and you need bus transportation, you will need to apply for both this school year and next school year.

How to Complete the EVSC Bus Application

On a Computer

  1. Sign in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal using your username and password. 
  2. Click on Forms on the left side of the screen. 
  3. Click on the General forms tab and locate the correct Transportation form - either for the current school year or for the next school year (if available). 

On a Phone

  1. Sign into the PowerSchool Parent Portal on your phone.
  2. Click on the fly out arrow on the upper right, directly beneath the PowerSchool logo.
  3. Click on Forms
  4. Click on the dropdown that says Enrollment and change it to General.
  5. Locate the correct Transportation form - either for the current school year or for the next school year (if available).

On the Mobile App

  1. Open the PowerSchool Parent Portal mobile app on your phone. 
  2. Click More at the bottom of the screen
  3. Click on Forms
  4. Click on the dropdown that says Enrollment and change it to General.
  5. Locate the correct Transportation form - either for the current school year or for the next school year (if available).

What you Need to Know!

  1. Transportation is not guaranteed. We will make every attempt to add your student to a school bus route, but we cannot every student will get a seat since some of our schools buses are full. If we are unable to add your student to a bus route, we will add them to a wait list and will notify you as soon as space becomes available.
  2. This form is for general education bussing only and for students in kindergarten through grade 12 who live within their school district. (See below for PreK students, those students receiving special education services and those attending AIS or RAMP).
  3. Students will only be transported to and from their primary home address. (Students will be transported to one address only, not multiple addresses.) To update your address with the school, please contact your school, or if over the summer, call 812-435-8453.
  4. Exceptional learners that have an Individual Education Plan (IEP) that requires special transportation services do not need to complete the bus application. The Office of Special Education handles all IEP bussing.
  5. Parents or guardians with students that are McKinney-Vento (homeless/displaced) will need to contact Student Services at 812-435-8866 to request bus transportation.
  6. If you are a parent or guardian needing Pre-K bussing please contact the Office of Early Learning at 812-435-0944.
  7. Transportation requests for RAMP and for students attending AIS must be made through the school/program.
